The Sons of Sailors is a Jimmy Buffett tribute band that has been performing since the early 1980s. They are known for their energetic performances of Buffett's saltwater country music, which includes a mix of Buffett's songs and other artists' material. The band has opened shows for various artists, including Leon Russell and David Allen Coe, and has performed in venues such as cruise ships and honky-tonks across the United States. They are recognized for their ability to capture the essence of Buffett's music, often receiving praise for their performances.
